Job Description
Contribute to ongoing efforts in Health and Safety data analysis and reporting, including production of documents and graphics about health and safety performance of the organization showing how responsible mining generates a positive health and safety culture for all stakeholders.
Job Responsibilities
- Support the data management and reporting functions of the Health and Safety Team.
- Develop and maintain data presentation formats, trend analysis, and other methods to help analyze the Company’s Health & Safety data and assess performance.
- Identify continuous improvement as it relates to the underlying business process related to data collection, analysis, visualization and reporting.
Education and Experience
- 2nd or 3rd year student studying a degree in Health and Safety or Data Analysis
- Prior experience or interest in data analysis and reporting
Skills
- Good interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Knowledge and intermediate use of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams
- Up to date knowledge about health and safety and/or data science
- Strong knowledge of Business Intelligence tools (Power BI, etc.)
- Graphic Design and Data visualization skills.
Compensation & Total Rewards
The base salary range for this role is $44,226 to $60,060 CAD, plus 4% vacation pay.
The hiring range reflects our targeted compensation framework for the role. The actual offer will be determined through a comprehensive evaluation of each candidate’s experience, capabilities, and potential impact, along with consideration of internal equity, team structure, and benchmark market data for similar positions.
