Job Description
The Processing Training Senior Trainer will train Process Operation and Maintenance employees in all aspects of the process plant and maintenance including Safety and Environmental mandatory training (HSE) and competency training on operation and maintenance ( Crushing, Conveying, Grinding, ILR, CIL, Elution, Gold Room, ADR, Dump Leach Pumping, Reagents, Utility and Tailings..)
Develop training and test material to support Tasiast Processing training programs,
Job Responsibilities
Key Areas of Responsibility and Duties
• Comply with all Tasiast Occupational Health and Safety Environmental policies and procedures, in order to be a role model for development program participants.
• Assist Process Training Superintendent to plan, develop and control competency-based curriculum for Process Operators
• Assist Process Training Superintendent to plan and control the development of standard operating procedures for Process Operators.
• Assist Process Training Superintendent to set-up and implement job and task skills analysis for Process Operator positions.
• Assist Process Training Superintendent in developing Performance Management system and employee evaluation procedures for national employees.
• Assist Process Training Superintendent in developing procedures to integrate performance management with career progression and salary advancement pathways for National employees.
• Assist Process Training Superintendent in implementation of Succession Planning Policy (Mauritanization)
• Work with equipment suppliers and vendors to supply competency based training
• Create competency based assessment tools; conduct on and off the job competency assessments
• Assist in scheduling and communicating learning programs, follow schedules to ensure that programs are delivered as planned.
• Accurately record and report participant learning and assessment results in the company learning management system (LMS) and departments records (Matrix and data base)
Education ,Experience and Skills
Minimum Qualifications & Skill Requirements
• Engineering degree
• Having 3 years experiences (minimum) as an instructor in the gold mining industry.
• Having 5 years experiences (minimum) as a supervisor in a gold process plant.
• Arabic Language fluency.
• French Language fluency.
• English Language fluency.
• Competence in MS Office
• Effective time manager able to prioritize tasks and work independently
