Job Description

Under the direction of the Purchasing Superintendent, Administrative Coordinators are the authorized agents of the company and have legal authority to act for the company in commercial matters. The incumbent will act on behalf of Kinross Nevada when negotiating with suppliers for the procurement, transport, taxation and payment for goods and services needed by the company operations.  This is a full-time, 6-month Temporary position. 

Job Responsibilities

1.    Ensure contractors have current insurance on file in Supply Chain and filed. 
2.    As directed by Dispatch, Order and release the Lime Schedule. 
3.    Keep Minutes for Safety meetings and send out to Warehouse/Purchasing weekly
4.    Work Closely with AP to ensure Timely payments are being made and steady flow through the RMG Tap System.
5.    Initiate New suppliers in GAN system.
6.    Maintain Current Log of Approved and Active suppliers in GAN System, Remove Supplier’s when needed from JDE if not compliant.
7.    Process and Approve A6. 
8.    Attend assigned departmental meetings as required.
9.    Perform receptionist duties including ordering office supplies, faxing, photocopying, mail distribution, answering and forwarding calls, vendor screening and appointments.
10.    Assist in Warehouse Functions. (Receiving Freight Po’s, and Binstock.) 
11.    Research and investigate any expedite issues coming from Purchasing to Warehouse.
12.    Enter New Supplier’s in SAP Ariba.
13.    Run Expedite Reports Weekly. 
14.    Attend regular Administrative Meetings.
15.    Binstock Auditing. 
16.    Code & Audit Alliance Copier Invoices Monthly.
17.    Follow and ensure Supply Chain policies are followed.
18.    Work Supplier Statements
19.    Code Invoices in AP TAPS system. 
20.    Research Invoices, Receipts, Pricing, approve & reject and follow through.
21.    Work with End users to receive PO’s
22.    Work with Supply Chain to cancel PO’s and work GRNV
23.    Enter requisitions and follow through for Purchasing/Warehouse Departments.
24.    Meets or exceeds established performance expectations set by management including working as team to accomplish department goals and objectives.

Education and Experience

1.    Ability to comply with established procurement controls and procedures.
2.    Ability to analyze situations, make logical decisions, and choose best course of action.
3.    Must understand and know how to operate computerized purchasing and materials management systems and standard office equipment.
4.    Must have a good understanding of mining equipment, machinery and processes.
5.    Good time management skills and ability to effectively prioritize work is essential.
6.    Previous accounting experienced preferred.
7.    Possesses good communication and interpersonal skills. 
8.    General understanding of mining operations, as well as limited understanding of milling and maintenance operations.
9.    Working knowledge and skill with P.C. utilizing word processing, spreadsheet, database, and presentation software. 
10.    Strong verbal, written, analytical and persuasive skills and the ability to interact effectively with all levels of employees and management.
11.    Ability to work independently and as a member of the management team. 
12.    Demonstrate strong administrative, organizational and technical writing skills.
13.    Must be 18 years old and presently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. 
14.    Requires valid driver’s license.
