Job Description

Under the direction of the Warehouse Supervisor, the incumbent is responsible for Inventory Optimization, Cyclic Inventory and Provide Inventory Reports as requested. Office, warehouse and outside work are involved with this position while continuously aligning daily functions to reflect Kinross’ values.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Direct the performance of continuous daily inventory cycle counts and reconciliation of Heavy Equipment Tires and Mill Reagents.
  2. Review, reconcile, and report discrepancies.
  3. Provide necessary information to the Inventory Analyst to ensure continuous improvement within the Warehouse stocking process.
  4. Bin-location management.
  5. Maintain accurate data
  6. Work with your Supervisor directly to review efficiencies that may be created.
  7. Forge integrated relationships with internal customers to drive organizational improvements and progress Supply Chain Management’s contribution and impact to the mine operation.
  8. Compliance with all company policies and procedures including, but not limited to safety, environmental, confidentiality and code of conduct.
  9. Meets or exceeds established performance expectations set by management.
  10. Consistently exercises discretion and judgment in job performance.
  11. Works without risk or harm to self and others.
  12. Punctuality and regular attendance required.
  13. Helps develop other department personnel to perform duties listed above.
  14. Performs other related functions as assigned by supervisor.

Education and Experience

  1. This position is responsible for maintaining effective utilization of RMGC inventory materials.
  2. Ability to analyze situations makes logical decisions and choose best course of action.
  3. Preferably have a minimum of 3-5 years of warehouse or inventory control experience.
  4. Working knowledge of JDE or similar MRO system is desirable.
  5. Possesses good communication and interpersonal skills.
  6. Working knowledge and skill with word processing, spreadsheet, database, and presentation software.
  7. Strong verbal, written, analytical skills and the ability to interact effectively with all levels of employees and management.
  8. Ability to work independently and manage one’s time effectively.
  9. Demonstrates strong administrative, organizational and technical writing skills.
  10. Must be 18 years old and presently authorized to work in the United States on a full time basis.
  11. Requires valid driver’s license.
