Job Description
Under the direction of the General Store/Golf Course Supervisor, the incumbent is responsible for performing a variety of duties within the general store and/or golf facility. These duties include: providing excellent customer service, checking in golfers, assisting in golf shop area, completing customer transactions, maintaining a clean, orderly, and friendly atmosphere for customers in and around the facilities, cleaning facilities, preparing food, assisting in kitchen area and maintaining inventory; while continuously aligning daily functions to reflect Kinross’ values.
Job Responsibilities
• Provides courteous customer service at all times, handles minor customer complaints.
• Operates cash register, receives payments, and accurately counts money and follow all RMGC service and cash handling policies and procedures.
• Greets customers and takes food order; provides information about menu; special for the day.
• Knows store layout, prices, and ads.
• Ensures proper food-handling procedures are followed including wrapping, labeling, dating, stocking, storing, rotating and checking temperature of products.
• Maintains a neat and clean work area including cash register and check stand. Keeps checkstand supplies stocked. At the end of a shift, returns unpurchased merchandise to shelves and properly stores damaged items in the back room.
• Receives, opens, and unpacks cartons or crates of merchandise, checking invoice against items received.
• Stocks storage areas and displays with new or transferred merchandise.
• Sets up advertising signs and displays with merchandise on shelves, counters, or tables to attract customers and promote sales.
• Helps develop other department personnel to perform the duties listed above.
• Compliance with all company policies and procedures including, but not limited to attendance, safety, environmental, confidentiality, and code of conduct.
• Meets or exceeds established performance expectations set by management.

Education and Experience
• Must have good customer service skills.
• Must be able to count money and change.
• Must be able to multitask, and deal with customer complaints.
• Possesses good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Working knowledge and skill with P.C. utilizing word processing, spreadsheet, database, and presentation software.
• Strong verbal, written, analytical and persuasive skills and the ability to interact effectively with all levels of employees and management.
• Ability to work independently and as a member of the management team.
• Demonstrates strong administrative, organizational and technical writing skills.
• Must be 18 years old and presently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
• Requires valid driver’s license.
