Job Summary

The Project Coordinator will support the Curlew Basin Restart construction project for an estimated duration of 16 months. Reporting to the Project Engineer, this role provides high-level administrative and coordination support to ensure efficient project execution and contractor management.

Essential Functions

  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Project Engineer and project team.
  • Assist with contractor onboarding, tracking, and compliance documentation.
  • Manage scheduling and coordinate project timelines, meetings, and deliverables.
  • Maintain accurate records, correspondence, and reporting.
  • Support logistical needs for contractors and project activities.
  • Facilitate communication and coordination across contractors, project staff, and management.
  • Coordinate logistics for site activities, including deliveries, equipment staging, and work area access.
  • Support HSE initiatives by organizing safety meetings, maintaining attendance logs, and tracking corrective actions.
  • Monitor field progress and performance, highlighting schedule deviations and assisting with corrective action tracking.
  • Assist with change management processes (RFIs, field change notices, and change orders).
  • Maintain and update project documentation in the document management system.
  • Coordinate and support quality control and inspection activities, including documentation and reporting.
  • Assist in procurement and material tracking, expediting deliveries and verifying receipts at site.
  • Participate in field walks to confirm physical progress and verify completion of scope.
  • Prepare and support turnover documentation and closeout packages.

Qualifications and Skill Requirements

  1. College or technical degree preferred.
  2. 5 years of experience supporting a construction project. Mining or heavy industrial experience preferred.
  3. Strong organizational and administrative skills.
  4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and scheduling tools.
  5. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced construction environment.
  6. Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  7. Valid driver’s license.

Compensation Data

Salary Range: $70,000 - $85,000
