Kinross’ comprehensive exploration and development program will aim to support the vision of a quality, high-grade, open-pit mine and a longer-term, sizeable underground mine.

Job Summary

The Logistics and Warehouse Intern will provide administrative and operational support to the Logistics and Warehouse team during a busy construction period. This role is a mix of office‑based administrative work and hands‑on support, including occasional travel to site. The successful candidate will be detail‑oriented, organized, comfortable working with data in Excel, and willing to assist with general warehouse and logistics tasks as needed.

Qualifications and Skill Requirements

  • Complete and verify receiving documentation such as packing slips, delivery slips, confirmations.
  • File and organize logistics, shipping, and warehouse records (digital and hard copy).
  • Assist with data entry and updates in Microsoft Excel tracking spreadsheets.
  • Support basic reporting, document control, and record reconciliation.
  • Perform general administration tasks as required by the logistics team.
  • Perform other duties to support procurement activities as assigned.
  • Assist with tracking inbound deliveries and material movements.
  • Support warehouse organization, labeling, and basic inventory checks.
  • Assist with documentation for shipments and site deliveries.
  • Participate in site visits to support receiving and verification activities.
  • Support other departments with required needs (water, garbage, recycling)

Work Conditions

This position is based in Red Lake, Ontario. In this role you will work a 5X2 schedule. 

 

Compensation and Total Rewards

The hourly rate for the Logistics and Warehouse Summer Student starts at $23.92 per hour. 

The hourly rate is in accordance with our established compensation framework for the role. This rate is fixed for the role and reflects requirements and benchmark market data for similar positions.
