Job Description

This role reports to the Internal Communications Manager and plays a crucial part in executing the company’s internal communication strategy. The Internal Communication & Digital Content Assistant is responsible for creating and curating engaging visual and digital content—especially videos and graphics—that supports internal initiatives. This role ensures all communications are aligned with the Kinross brand, delivered effectively across internal channels, and resonate with employees.

Job Responsibilities

•    Graphic Design & Digital Content Creation: Design and produce digital assets such as posters, banners, infographics, presentations, and other visuals for internal campaigns to enhance internal communications.
•    Video Production: Plan, shoot, and/or edit engaging videos that support internal campaigns, events, and messaging, ensuring alignment with Kinross brand guidelines.
•    Media Capture: Take and/or edit high-quality photos of internal events, milestones, and key moments. Coordinate with teams to gather relevant visual materials.
•    Channel Management: Upload and update content across internal communication channels, including newsletters, digital signage, and the intranet. Manage digital assets and media archives.
•    Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Internal Communications Officer to gather content and create compelling stories that reflect Kinross values and priorities.
•    Database & Archiving: Maintain and organize internal image, video, and digital asset databases, ensuring proper filing and easy access to creative assets.
•    Others as required.

Education and Experience

•    Experience: Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in video production, graphic design, or a similar visual communication role, preferably within a corporate or agency environment—ideally in a global and multicultural company.
•    Education: Degree or vocational training in Audiovisual Communication, Multimedia, Graphic Design, or a related creative field.
•    Portfolio: Ability to share a portfolio of original video and/or graphic design work.

Skills

•    Design & Editing Tools: Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, Photoshop, InDesign); familiarity with Canva and other visual tools is a plus.
•    Video & Photography: Solid understanding of video storytelling, framing, sound, and editing. Experience in photo editing and visual composition.
•    Digital Tools: Proficient in Microsoft Office (including PowerPoint and Teams); familiar with content management systems like SharePoint. Comfortable using collaborative project management platforms such as Monday.com or Trello.
•    Creative & AI Tools: Comfortable exploring AI-powered content creation platforms (e.g., Canva AI, ChatGPT, Adobe Firefly) to support visual and written communications.
•    Languages: Strong written and spoken English (C1 level or above); French or Arabic is a plus.
