Job Description

Receiving, issuing, storing, and shipping of parts and materials; fill requisitions and expedited order fulfilment; inventory control: cycle counts, variance reports and corrections, preparing status reports, maintaining computerized warehouse systems, operating lift equipment, and keeping a clean and safe work environment.

Job Responsibilities

  • Responsible for all tasks related to the receiving, issuing, and shipping of parts and materials.
  • Perform various material handling duties at site.
  • Participate in conducting cycle counts and physical inventories; assist in improving accuracy of counts.
  • Rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
  • Responsible for maintaining a clean and organized work area while following 5S Standards.
  • Responsible for operating diesel and electric lift equipment.
  • Punctuality and regular attendance is required.
  • Meet or exceed established performance expectations set by management.
  • Compliance with all company policies and procedures, including, but not limited to, safety, confidentiality, and environmental policies.
  • Possession of a valid driver’s license issued by the state.
  • Work safely in all areas; identify potential safety hazards and work with management to correct them.
  • Work without significant risk of harm to self and others.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of warehouse or inventory control experience required, 3-5 years preferred; heavy equipment with material handling and distribution experience desirable.

Skills

  • Working knowledge of JDE or similar ERP system is desirable.
  • Must demonstrate proficiency in MS Excel.
  • Must be able to operate forklifts, wheel loaders, or other equipment as required.
  • Basic knowledge of shipping in addition to warehouse procedures and regulations required.
  • Must have basic knowledge of mining equipment and parts.
  • Must be dedicated to customer service.
  • Must have solid verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze situations, make logical decisions, and choose best course of action.
  • Must be a self-starter with the ability to work with others in a team environment.

Reporting Relationships

Works under the direct supervision of the Warehouse Supervisor.
