Deputy Project Director (Republic, Washington, USA)

Job Summary

Under the direction of the Project Director and General Manager, the incumbent will have full responsibility of the day-to-day execution of the Curlew Basin Restart Project. The Deputy Project Director will act as the senior point of contact onsite and ensure alignment across the organization’s overall strategy.

Essential Functions

Oversee the full lifecycle of the project, including feasibility studies, construction execution, and final handover to operations.
Manage the planning and execution of major project scope items, including:
- Expansion of mine infrastructure on surface and underground to support production mining.
- Vertical and horizontal underground capital development.
- Procurement of a capital development business partner.
- Procurement of mobile equipment for the mine and the mill.
- Transportation of ore from the mine site to the mill site.
- Refurbishment of the existing mill (processing plant).
- Construction of a new tailings dewatering facility.
- Conversion of the existing slurry tailings storage facility to a filtered tailings management facility.
- Construction of new water management facilities.
Collaborate with the Project Director and site General Manager to define effective organizational structures and communication channels to meet project and corporate needs.
Ensure qualified personnel are in place and teams are organized for efficient and effective delivery.
Align and integrate permitting, environmental, safety, community relations, engineering, operational readiness, and risk management into clear project deliverables.
Establish and maintain systems for managing project scope, quality, cost, and schedule.
Lead and implement communication systems and reporting procedures to ensure timely and accurate updates to site leadership and corporate stakeholders, while proactively identifying and addressing risks, opportunities, and roadblocks.
Provide strategic oversight and direction for early-stage development activities to align with the overall project timeline.
Actively support procurement and contracting activities, including the evaluation of Requests for Proposal (RFPs) to ensure cost-effective and compliant contractor engagement.
Assist in ongoing reporting, budgeting, compliance, and risk management activities to ensure the project remains on track.
Present business cases and status updates to senior management and other key stakeholders to inform strategic decision-making.
Lead the continuous development of a culture of safety and organizational performance as a driver of behaviors for the entire Project team (including contractors and consultants).
Establish strategic and collaborative relationships with Kinross’s Kettle River Operations teams, Kinross technical services, and business partners to ensure the successful completion of the Project.

Qualifications and Skills

Bachelor’s degree in Mine Engineering, Business Management, or a related field. Masters/MBA preferred.
15+ years of project experience including working for Owner or EPCM firms directly executing large projects or multiple smaller projects.
10 years of experience supervising and mentoring all aspects of project delivery including engineering, procurement, construction, and project services.
Experience leading and/or supporting construction of mining projects essential (preferably brownfield gold projects).
The ability to interact effectively with all levels of employees and leadership.
Familiarity with environmental, permitting, and regulatory frameworks related to mining.
Strong knowledge of project planning tools (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project).
Skilled in risk management, budgeting, and cost control.
Commitment to health, safety, environmental, and community standards.
Willingness to work full time at Mill and mine site.
Valid driver’s license required.

Job Description

To oversee the implementation, execution and ongoing management of Kinross’ global Total Rewards programs and processes. To ensure global alignment of Rewards programs to Kinross’ strategy and values, compensation philosophy and approach. Key Responsibilities

Job Summary

Under direction of the General Manager, the incumbent will provide complete environmental services for the Kettle River Operations (KRO). Incumbent will work with internal leaders and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with company, local, state, and federal requirements and shall conduct all activities in a safe manner and in alignment with Kinross’ values.

Geotechnical Engineer (Elko, Nevada, USA)

Bald Mountain is an open-pit mine with a large estimated mineral resource in the largest private mining land package in the U.S. The mine is located in White Pine County, one of the best mining jurisdictions in the world, along the southern extension of the prolific Carlin trend. Job Summary

The Geotechnical Engineer is responsible for providing geotechnical support to the mining and Tech Services departments to ensure that the mine operates effectively and safely. This role requires familiarity with environmental policies and the ability to maintain and support procedures that prevent accidents or injuries.

Essential Functions

•   Develop geotechnical design criteria to support safe and optimal mine operations.

The purpose of the Manager, Mine Planning role is to provide technical leadership in Mineral Reserves evaluations both in study/project and operational phases. The Tasiast mine is an open-pit operation in northwestern Mauritania located within an extensive gold system that is largely underexplored. The Great Bear project is a development-stage asset located in the renowned and prolific Red Lake mining district, and represents one of the most exciting recent gold discoveries globally. The project has excellent potential to become a top-tier deposit that could support a large, long-life mine complex. Kinross’ comprehensive exploration and development program will aim to support the vision of a quality, high-grade, open-pit mine and a longer-term, sizeable underground mine.

Job Summary

As a Senior Mine Engineer for the Great Bear Advanced Exploration Project (AEX), you will be responsible for leading and executing a full range of engineering functions to support underground mine development and exploration. You will be accountable for planning, scheduling, and engineering design work that drives safe and efficient underground development.

During the planning phase, the primary focus will be to work with the site team and the selected underground mining contractor to finalize detailed engineering and prepare for underground mobilization. The first underground blast is targeted for December 2025. Job Description

Provides administrative support for the Investor Relations and Communications teams (“Teams”). Coordinates events and arranges department participation at conferences. Performs day-to-day activities as directed by the SVP Communications and Investor Relations or delegate in a timely manner.

Job Responsibilities

Provide administrative support for the Investor Relations and Communications team
Make travel arrangements and coordinate logistics for Investor Relations marketing roadshows
Manage the Teams calendars
Schedule meetings and conference calls, including booking and setting up boardrooms
Process and track invoices and expenses for the Teams
Coordinate events for the departments and arrange participation in conferences by planning and carrying out necessary logistics and details
Maintain sufficient office supplies for the departments
Provide general support on department-related projects
Act as a key point of contact for the IR & Comms teams where required, and liaise with internal and external contacts.

Research and prepare investor profiles and other briefing materials for the management team in advance of investor meetings, conferences and roadshows
Summarize investment research reports and distribute internally
Assist in the preparation of the quarterly Board Investor Relations Report and other presentations as required
Assist in responding to retail investor inquiries and monitors the Company’s investor email inbox, responding as appropriate.
Provide general support during quarterly reporting process and for major announcements, including printing materials
Act as the backup contact for daily media monitoring (approximately 5 weeks per year)
Maintain lists of relevant presentations, events, and speaking opportunities for cross promotion on website and social media
Assist in the preparation, updating and printing of the company’s marketing materials
Assist in the updating of materials posted on the company’s website

The IT Director, Computing Infrastructure is a pivotal leadership role responsible for the strategic direction, operational excellence, and modernization of the enterprise’s hybrid computing infrastructure. This role is also responsible for the architecture and the design of the ecosystem throughout the modernization journey. Strategic Leadership and Transformation:
• Develop and execute a forward-looking infrastructure strategy aligned with enterprise IT and business goals.

• Implement and oversee FinOps-aligned processes for cloud resource allocation, monitoring, and cost optimization.

Security and Compliance:

Education and Experience

• Extensive hands on experience managing both on-premises and cloud infrastructure environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Deep understanding of DevOps best practices specific to the management of infrastructure.
