Purpose of Role
To support the Kinross Canadian Greenfields Exploration department in compilation, coordination and reporting work to meet key corporate and site commitments. Reports to the Exploration Manager and assists other professionals within the group. Partakes in activities related to the data collection, modelling and analysis of geological information and processes to ensure that Company standards are met.
Job Responsibilities
- Supports the preparation and compilation of the Company’s Assessment Reports and other documentation to ensure compliance with industry requirements
- Assists in the development, editing and organization of internal data and documentation
- Processing of data for use in reporting and planning
- Support other analytical database geology work
- Actively seeks mentorship and learning opportunities to improve technical knowledge and skill set
- Occasionally completes field work, as required
- Other duties as required
Minimum Requirements
- 2nd - 3rd year student in Geology
- Good interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Knowledge and skill with a PC utilizing office applications
