Responsabilités associées au poste

  • Ensure internal communications related to company’s initiatives and projects are successfully communicated to employees and stakeholders
  • Draft messages or scripts from senior executives for presentation to employees in written or spoken form
  • Ensure internal communications messages are consistent across all mediums and for different departments of  Tasiast
  • Ensure internal communication messages are consistent with external communication messages
  • Handle the internal communication response to crisis situations which affect organizational perception and reputation
  • Propose and implement communication plans to support communication needs of the Tasiast Senior Management Team (general information, informing on business objectives, HR announcement, promoting Health & Safety and continuous improvement programs, …) and Develop communication to inform and educate employees on matters relevant to the Company
  • Produce communications supports: internal announcements, Powerpoint presentations, press releases, TV documentaries. As part of it, acts as the editor of the monthly Tasiast newsletter
  • Produce communication for emerging issues (key messages)
  • Support corporate communication actions (promotion of corporate values / corporate announcements / Kinross World Online / LOVA)
  • Build a database of communication content on Tasiast (general information / pictures / videos / PowerPoint presentation) in coordination with relevant departments and Training Department
  • Support site visits for external delegations.
  • Assist with translation of documents when needed
  • Support the Communication Coordinator in his duties

Études et expérience

  • Have a Bachelor or Master degree in Communications, Media, Business, Languages or Literature
  • A prior experience of at least 5 years in Communications would be desirable
  • Fluency (written and spoken) in French, English and Arabic
  • Extensive knowledge of policies, practices and procedures related to function
  • Effective communication skills; verbal and written
